O Christmas Tree
I've been totally slacking on writing any posts but I've been busy studying and getting done with finals. Thurday night I took my last final so I am finally done with school...bye, bye Unv of Utah!!!! Anyway, now I can focus more on the holidays! Jake and I debated whether or not to get a Christmas tree this year b/c we will be spending Christmas in Utah. However, we thought it would be fun for Luke and would help him get more excited for Christmas. So last Saturday night, we went and picked out a small Christmas tree and yes, Luke was very excited about it! He was right by daddy's side, helping to put the Christmas tree up. It may be a small tree but it sure smells really good!

Found the perfect spot and started decorating the tree.
Luke pretending to be a tree.
Luke ran and found some scissors and hid them behind his back. He pulled them out and tried to start cutting the branches. I quickly took those away and told him he couldn't play with the scissors. But he was determined to help daddy cut the extra branches so he ran and got a fork hoping that would do the job! This is a picture of Luke trying to cut the branches with the fork!

Hey guys, Luke is such a doll. We hope we get to hang out with you all when you come up to Utah-especially since Karen is pretty much our next door neighbor!
Cute cute cute....
That tree makes me laugh- I'm not used to seeing a small tree-it makes Jake look like a giant. Good call to go ahead with the tree, that sounds familiar, I'm pretty sure we had to do that one year.
