This past January, we took Luke in for his annual checkup with his new cardiologist. Everything looked great except they found this little mass on the right side of Luke's heart. Long story short, we had everything sent to the cardiologist at Stanford (where Luke had his last heart surgery) and they seem to think it needs to be surgically removed. However, the doctors here think its something we should just watch and wait. We're still not sure exactly what to do but he may have to have another heart surgery sometime in the near future. A little disappointing.

A little of what we've been up too...
This past month has been nice b/c Jake's schedule hasn't been so busy, so we've been able to have a lot more family time. The weather is slowly beginning to get nicer so we've also been able to get outside a little more. I think we've survived our first winter here in Michigan, although it might snow this weekend! Jake has been busy working, studying and playing basketball. I have been busy with everything...the boys, cleaning, never ending laundry, and trying to figure out my new camera. Colton just turned 8 months old and is our little chub chubs and tubby tubbs(already wearing 12-18 month clothes)! He loves to eat, sleep and watch his big brother Luke. Not even interested in crawling which is not a bad thing! Our Luke is 3 and a half and loves preschool, transformers, jedi knights, car cars, and Thomas the trains. The other day I told him he was pretty awesome. His reply, "No Mommy, you pretty, I'm awesome." Such a smart boy! He is happy and always full of life...wish I could have some of his energy!

Luke and Colton after playing some video arcades.
For weeks, Luke asked if we could go bowling, don't know how he even knew what bowling was! He loved it and did great! Almost beat Jake and I(using the side bumpers).
This is Colton at the bowling alley. As you can tell from his expression, he was not too fond of this whole experience!
Colton and I at Partridge Creek Mall, a fun outside shopping mall. It's a fun place to go when the weather is nice. We sure love this little guy and love munching on his chubby cheeks!

I am so sorry about another potential surgery! We will definitely keep him and your cute family in our prayers and keep our fingers crossed that it doesn't need to happen! As for your cute colton, he is adorable and wish so much that he was here to play with our Beckam, who also has no desire to crawl! So glad you guys are loving Michigan even though we miss you out here :)
What a cute cute family you have, Amy! I love your little boys! Darling bunk beds...so fun! Please keep us posted on Luke-we're thinking of you!!
