Luke's FOUR year old birthday:)

Jake is on call tonight, so rather than staying up late doing dishes and laundry, I decided to eat icecream and catch up a little more on our blog! Our little Luke turned 4 on August 13th. I kept telling him I didn't want him to turn 4, I just want him to stay little. His reply was always, "But Mom, I just HAVE to turn 4." I think he was anxious to have his birthday party and to get a couple of gifts! Ever since Luke was a baby, he has had this happy, fun little personality and still does! Although at times he likes to tease his baby brother, well alot, he is a good boy! Today, Luke had an apt with his GI doc, and his doc said we can take his feeding tube out! He's got an apt on Tues with the pediatric surgeon to talk about removing it. We are so proud of our Luke and all the progress he has made! Below are just a few pictures to show Luke's fun little personality!
On the last day of summer daycamp, they had the Olympics where Luke stole the show with his dance moves!

Boy, n.: a noise with dirt on it.
One day when I was rushing to take Luke to swim class, I found him in the back with his Daddy's fisherman vest on playing with the reel.
Luke invited his primary class to his birthday party. So we had transformer cupcakes for the boys and princess cupcakes for the girls! He had lots of fun!

Our lovely unfinished basement, but a perfect place for the pinata.
Luke loved all of his gifts...thankyou everyone who came!

Handsome AND has dance moves, this little guy has got it made. Congratulations on the removal of his feeding tube, that's a big deal and a big step up! I'm so excited he's doing great! Looks like he had a great 4th birthday.

4 years old? That's so crazy. I remember thinking how weird it was when Ethan turned 4- for some reason that was the year that made him an official big boy. Their were no more generic toys... it had to have wheels, be a sport or have the ability to kill something or it just wasn't worth playing with. Happy Birthday Luke! As always, we wish we lived closer!
