Happy New Year!

Below are a few pictures of New Year's Eve at my parents house. We had lots of fun playing games, eating yummy food and just hanging out with family! It was also fun to see and talk to my nephew Travis who just barely returned home from the Malaga Spain mission. You can tell what an awesome missionary he was.
The last couple of years, Jake and I have focused much of our attention on our little Luke (many of you may have noticed by all our blog posts!). However, we are excited for another little addition to join our family. Luke on the other hand may have quite a bit of adjusting to do since he has been such the center of our attention. He knows he is very loved! Although I haven't been to a doctor yet, we are thinking I am 10 weeks along and the baby's due date will be Aug. 1st. I honestly don't care if we have a boy or a girl, as long as it is healthy! Luke loves hanging out with his cousins. This is couple minutes before midnight. I can't believe they all stayed awake!

Earlier that evening, we took the kids to see "Alvin and the Chipmunks" at the theater. Luke did awesome watching his first movie on the big screen! He did a little wandering but we didn't even have to take him out once!

My sister Sarah and brother-in-law, Rod.

Mommy and Luke.

My sister Kim, brother-in-law Bryan, nephew Todd and Travis(just got home from his mission).

Papa Rees and Lukey. Luke would stay up all night if we would let him!

Jake and Travis playing a boxing match on the Nintendo Wii. It is pretty funny to watch!

Jake got quite the workout!

My Mom, and sisters, Kim and Sarah. We played speed scrabble as we drank a little bubbly!

Congratulations! We are excited for you. Having two is challenging but definitely fun. It looks like your New Years and Christmas were great too.

I'm am glad you trusted that the Lord won't give you more than you can handle, and took that leap to give having more kids a shot, after what Luke went through! Well, If you do have a girl, you know i have all the cutest stuff for her!
