Okay, a little baby update. Today was my first doctors apt. Yes, I am 17 weeks pregnant and just barely had my first dr. apt! Long story short...insurance issues. It was kind of nice getting everything taken care of in my first apt, including my first ultrasound. The most exciting part for me was to hear and see the baby's heart. We were able to see the baby's four chambers and so far everything looks and sounds good! One of the not so exciting events was to weigh in...I'm embarrased to say how much I have already gained but seriously need to cut out the chocolate! I was really hoping to find out what we are having but unfortunately the little one was not cooperating. However, my husband, "Dr. Jake" as he calls himself, could have sworn he saw a little "pee pee" between the baby's legs. Given Luke's medical history, I'm being referred to a specialist and now will have to wait a few more weeks to officially find out what we are having. As far as my due date, we were pretty on track, the doctor moved it up just a couple of days to July 29th. Now, I can hopefully relax a little.

Yeah!!! I'm so glad that you were able to get in. I love the ultrasound pics. I'm happy everything looks good!
My two friends that are pregnant are both having boys. (Not that that is a trend or anything :) I know that you would be happy with either as long as the baby is healthy.
That is so exciting! It is amazing how a doctor and a couple of pictures can make you feel so much better! I cannot wait to hear what you are having! I wish that you were going to be in Vegas when the little one was born!
As for the weight...I TOTALLY understand. I think that it is just a mean trick that we have to gain it back after working to get it off :) But for the record you look fabulous! I look at you often and think "why cant I look like that too!" Congrats! We are so excited for you guys!
It is so exciting to have the ultrasounds. Those were always my favorite appointments. We are very glad that all looks well... and the weight thing... hey your pregnant enjoy it is what I say!

While I was preg. with Annie it took them 5 times before she would let them see what she was.
We had to see a DR. that Jack worked with, Dr. Nielson and he had only wonderful things to say!
I'm excited for you!!! I'm thrilled to know everything is going well with the pregnancy. I'm a little sad, I just realized it's the end of Feb and I didn't get to see you this month like I thought I was going to. Did your plans change? I was hoping to see your cute little prego belly. I miss you.

That is so great! I can't wait to hear what you guys are having and I am so glad that the heart looked good! I am hoping for a girl!! That would be fun for you to have one of each, don't worry about the weight you have plenty to put on and just think of how fat I was with the twins and that will make you feel better!

Congrats!!! I didn't even know you guys were expecting again. That is great. And two boys is super fun. I have loved it. (if it is a boy.) You are more trusting than me with the medical husband. Jason is a radiologist and I still think he can't tell. :)
