I think Luke is going to be a good big brother. He is really growing up and becoming more and more independent. We have finally been able to take him off his last feed and he's becoming interested in a variety of foods. Some include: peas dipped in ranch(who would have thought!), chocolate chip cookies(just like his mommy) and of course ranch potato chips. If he continues to grow and gain weight, we will be able to have his feeding tube removed in a few months! We are really proud of our Luke, he has really come a long way!
As far as Jake and residency goes, it's really not so fun. He's gone a lot and well, I don't have a lot of good to say about it! Although, I think Jake is really enjoying it, even though they work him hard. Maybe because he likes to be called "Dr. Daynes!" We are looking forward to him having a week off when this baby arrives but not looking forward to the month of August when he has to work nights all month. Anyway, we will post more pictures as soon as our little guy makes his deput!

Whoohoo! We are so excited for you guys and cannot wait to see your newest addition! Cade was talking all about Luke yesterday and just couldnt understand why we couldnt go to "Lukes house!" We miss you guys and wish you the best of luck with no sleep (it gets better) and Jakes residency.
Good luck, Amy! I can't wait until you post pictures of the new baby. Do you know what you are going to name him?
Way to go Luke! Sounds like he's adjusting well in the new area, eating good (who doesn't like peas dipped in ranch...eeeewww, hey whatever dude!) and looking as cute as ever. I'm so excited for you! You'll do great! I'm sure it's hard without Jake around. I can't even imagine. Dr. Daynes does sound pretty dang cool! Love ya!
Oh Aimes, good luck! Luke is such a sweetie. I hope things are well for you in Michigan. I don't know about you, but this residency thing is just as hard...or harder than Med. school. I am struggling being a single parent again! :0
Yay, I can't believe he's almost here!! You better call me before that baby gets here...we need to chat. I miss you and I am sorry your having a hard time with the residency. I can't imagine what it's like. I want to come see you so you tell me when and I will book the flight!
How exciting! I wish we were closer to visit, but we'll have to make do with the pictures! I can't wait!
Good Luck, Amy! Tell Dr. Daynes and Mr. Luke congratulations. I hope all goes well for you and that this little dude is an tremendously good baby who loves to sleep and makes being a "single mom" whose married to a resident easy. Good luck!
I'm dying to see "New Baby" and find out his name, and see how cute he is! I'm so proud of you Amy for all the hard work you have put into working with Luke and his feeds. You guys are gonna be able to get him completly off soon I know it!!

Hooray! That is so exciting. I can't wait to see what he looks like. He will be so handsome just like Luke.
Congrats!! I am so excited to see your new little guy. I still think of Luke as a baby. (He was so young when we moved.) I am glad to hear how great he is doing.
Congratulations and good luck with everything! We are so excited for you guys.
