Brrrrr, it's already getting cold here in Michigan. Everybody has warned us about the freezing cold, long, winters here. I can't believe it's already beginning. It seems like the summer was sooo short (mind you, we just moved here from Las Vegas!). We've been trying to get outside as much as possible b/c once winter hits, we will be couped up inside A LOT.
Already pulling out the warm clothes. My handsome boys!
Colton had his 2 month checkup and is our chunky little monkey! He started only in the 5th percentile and has already jumped to the 75th percentile for weight and height(12.5lbs and 231/2inches)! He had to get 3 shots at his apt and was a real trooper! He is turning into such a good baby! It has been so fun having a healthy, happy baby who is already sleeping through the night! We sure do love this little guy!
Luke has been loving preschool lately. This past week he had a fieldtrip to Westview Orchard. It is this beautiful farm that has a pumpkin patch, corn fields, apple and cherry trees, animals, haystacks...lots to do! Above is a pic of Luke with his friend Zane and his preschool teacher, Mrs. Sell, on the tractor ride.
Each of the kids got to pick their very own pumpkin from the pumpkin patch.
Only downfall...it was freezing!!! I forgot to check the weather so Luke was only wearing a t-shirt and the sweatshirt they had made for this fieldtrip. Next time, we will be sure to check the weather and bundle up! Notice Luke has the same fake smile as his daddy!
Zane's dad also just started orthopedic residency this year. They are in the same preschool class and have become good little buddies!
Despite the cold, Luke still had a great time. He loved feeding the animals and would laugh and squeel when they ate it out of his hand!

Great blog. I miss the fall. It dosen't seem the same here. Colton looks like a growing healthy boy and I miss my Luke buddy. I love the photos and update. Keep up the great work.

I'm jealous you get the cold weather already!! I am getting so excited to get out of shorts and t-shirts! Luke looks like he is having a blast with all his new friends and his preschool. Colten is so dang cute, I wish I could get a chance to hold him!!!
Luke is growing up so fast! I can't believe he is already going on preschool field trips. Looks like Colten is trying hard to catch up with his big brother.
It never gets old to give others a hard time when winter comes too early for them- but I'm going to spare you this time because I know you already know what you're up against, and there is nothing you can do to stop it, plus look at the bright side, Luke gets to wear that awesome sweatshirt he made. Couldn't do that in Las Vegas!
