Photo Shoot/Thanksgiving

It has been a little long since I last updated my blog, but there hasn't been a lot to blog about. To be honest, I've been a little down lately with the weather so cold, dark and gloomy. And also, living so far away from family and friends during the holidays is tough. Anyway, things have been fine, just not too exciting lately! I thought I would share some pictures I took of the boys this last week. My Grandmother is turning 90 years old in December, so one of my cousins is putting together a genealogical descendant book which will include all her kids, grandkids and great grandkids. All I needed was a photo of each of us, which sounds easier than it actually is. Luke was laughing and being goofy the whole time while Colton, who usually always smiles, would not smile! I told Jake I just need a little girl who loves being in front of the camera! Below are a few of the million pictures I took! I know, I need to invest in a nice camera!

And a couple more of goofy Luke!

This year, we had a nice quiet Thanksgiving with our own little family, catered by Boston Market! I tried to make it nice by making some yummy homemade rolls and green bean casserole and decorating the table pretty, but it was still missing family, noise and a little craziness! However, Luke had a great time helping me in the kitchen with the rolls. He even made a couple all by himself.
(The rolls in the front were created by Luke the chef!)

After our yummy dinner I headed over to the movies and saw Bolt with the three boys. The outdoor shopping mall was all decorated with "twinkwing wights" as Luke said it!
Colton was a little angel as always and just went along with it!

Oh, I miss you AMY! Colton is so stinking cute and Luke is getting so big I can't believe it. How you holding up? It's so hard being away from family during the Holidays but I bet you guys are having a great time with each other. I need to come visit, but I think I will wait until after the snow :) Oh my, is it so cold???

Such cute little guys!! Fantastic idea having Boston Market do all of the hard work so you could have fun with the rolls and your little guys!! We miss you guys and talk about you often! Let Luke know that Cade still refers to him as "my friend Luke!" We love you guys!

Seeing all these pics of Luke and Colten really made me miss you guys! Kylee actually said yesterday "Hey Mom, you wanna walk to Luke's house?" I was like "aww, I'm sorry" I can't believe they still have their little memories! That made me sad that you were kinda down with the weather and being away from family, I too know how that feels...I see my family once a year in Florida. You just feel like your missing out on everything. I hope you get some close friends though, and it sounds like you have a good ward, which makes a world of difference!
