We went to our ward Christmas breakfast this last weekend. It was lots of fun with lots of yummy food and a nice nativity program performed by the primary. Then, Santa made an appearance! Luke was real hesitant to sit on his lap at first until I told him he needed to tell Santa what he wanted for Christmas so Santa would know what to bring him. When it was finally Luke's turn to sit on Santa's lap, he walked straight up to Santa and said he wanted a transformer. (Kids are so easily pleased at this age!) Luke was a little confused when all Santa gave him was a candycane and not a transformer! I had to explain that Santa doesn't deliver the gifts until Christmas!
Also, Luke's daddy is doing the twelve days of Christmas for Luke. Luke looks forward to recieving a gift from Santa's helper every night! (Except the first night he was disappointed that he didn't recieve a transformer. We had to explain that they weren't from Santa, they were just little gifts from Santa's helper!) Luke is soooo excited for Christmas this year which makes it sooo exciting for Jake and I! We are so grateful for our two little boys and can't imagine life without them!(I think Luke must have been sliding across the gym floor, his pants are filthy!)

That is so much fun that he is so excited! I think we have been too wrapped up in hospital stuff to really help Cade understand the Christmas excitement. Hopefully we can make up for it in the next week or so. We were talking to a guy that Jake went to school with and who just finished his ortho rotation with Jason. It really made us miss you guys! Hope all is going well with your cute family!
I'm so glad Luke actually went up to Santa, Kylee is SCARED to death of him. She said "I don't want Santa coming to MY HOUSE!" I hope you have a good Christmas Amy :) Are you going to see any family soon?!
Ryan said "that is Luke with Santa but, Santa doesn't look like Santa that's a fake" Can't fool him :)
So cute the Luke is getting into the Santa thing. I think that is when all of the magic begins. That is very sweet that Jake is doing the 12 days of Christmas for him. That would be so fun.
Your boys are absolutely adorable! I haven't seen you since Jr. High or elementary school? Hope all is well and that your family has a WONDERFUL Christmas. ;)
