Utah Update

Jake has had the month off from rotations, so we decided to come to Utah for a couple of weeks and hang out with some of our friends and family. Despite the cold weather and not packing enough warm clothes, we have had an awesome time, especially little Luke. I've been really bad about taking pictures but below are a few that my sister and Jake's friend Matt took for us.

One of the days my sister Sarah and I decided to take our boys to the Farm at Thanksgiving Point. Above are pictures of Luke on the pony ride. He was loving it and smiled the whole time.

This is Luke and his cousin "Rynin." Although Ryan is a couple years older than Luke, they have been good little buddies. They have found that they have lots of the same interests such as wrestling, playing with cars and just being boys!

This is me holding a three day old, adorable baby goat! It was sooo cute in it's pink sweater and diaper. It loved to be held and snuggled and cried when you put it down...too cute.

Grandma Rees trying to milk the cow. It' not as easy as it looks!

Luke thinks my Dad's riding lawnmower is a tractor and when the trailer is attached, they are plowing the corn (must be from one of his books). He also insists on wearing the gloves everytime he goes for a ride!

This is always a highlight for Luke when we visit "Papa Rees."

A huge highlight on our trip for Jake, was going fly fishing with my Dad and his friend Matt. He said he had an awesome day and caught many huge fish (according to Jake).

Jake's good friend, Matt, met him to do a little fishing and then afterwards they went shooting.

For some reason, Jake has really wanted to go shooting lately. Who knows why, it must be a guy thing. Hopefully it will now be out of his system!

I love the picture with Luke and the big gloves riding on the "tractor" That is a classic picture.

The view behind Mark's picture is awesome. But, It looks very cold where they were fishing. Amazing that boys never feel that.

Nice fishing photos Jake, it was good of you to take pictures of the small ones that you caught by accident and leave out the huge ones so as not to make us all jealous.
You know you gotta have sweet skills with a "-piece" if you're moving to D-town MI. Looks like you had lots of fun up in Utah!

We did not know you were in town. It looks like Luke had a blast..and Jake also.
I hope you are feeling good Amy.

It is so much fun to spend time with the family. I am sure you feel like us, to think that is will not be so easy soon. Keep us the fun times

CUTE CUTE PICTURES!!!! Love them! I'm so sad we didn't take a picture together while you were here. I had my camera with me, but with the kids as a major distraction, I totally forgot about it. I hope you can squeeze me into your short April trip. I want a picture of us! Lunch maybe? I would love to show you how to make bows. You can make them as baby girl gifts when you're in Michigan or for yourself when baby #3 is a girl (hope-hope! You have to have a girl!) So glad I got to see you though. I just love ya! Hurry up with Michigan and move back to Utah so we can hang out!
